Applications are invited on or before 28th February, 2011 for the following vacancies at National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health, Mumbai.
1. TECHNICIAN 'A'- Three Vacancies (One reserved for SC, Two Unreserved) in the scale of (PB-2)Pay Band Rs.5200-20200+ Grade Pay Rs. 1900 and the allowances as admissible under Government of India.
Essential Qualification: S.S.C. with Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology as science subjects or equivalent from a recognized board with one year Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) and one year experience in a Govt. recognized organization / institute / Medical College.
Desirable: B.Sc. in Botany / Zoology/ Chemistry/ Microbiology. Minimum one year work experience in tissue processing, blood biochemistry, histopathology, HPLC and / or clinical laboratory will be preferred.
Age: 18-28 years (as on the last date of receipt of application). Relaxable up to five years for Government Servants, SC/ST/Physically Handicapped candidate and three years to OBC candidates as per rule.
Other Details: Benefits of new restructured defined Contributory Pension System are admissible as per the provision contained in the Ministry of Finance Department of Economic Affairs (ECB & PR Division), Notification No. 5/7/2003-ECD & PR dated 22.12.2003 effect from 01.01.2004.
Application on plain paper along with Bio-data and attested copies of testimonials, Caste Certificate etc., duly completed in all respect should be sent to the above name and address along with a crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) or a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Director, NIRRH & payable at Mumbai for Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty Five only). SC/ST and physically handicapped candidates are exempted from this payment. Candidates working in the Central/State Government or PSUs may send their application through proper channel. Incomplete / late applications or those without postal orders/Demand Draft and copies of relevant certificates will not be entertained. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidate or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection/recruitment shall be deemed as disqualification. Shortlisted candidates will only be called for interview. The decision of the Director, NIRRH will be final in this regard.
