Minimum Qualifications: First class M.Sc. degree in any discipline of Life Science from a recognized University/Institute. Preference will be given to those who have cleared NET(CSIR/UGC)/NET(LS).
Research Experience: Desirable. However, candidate should know basic molecular biology techniques such as plasmid purification, transformation, competent cell preparation, phage isolation and gDNA preparation.
Age Limit: Applicant should not have completed 28 years of age at the time of this advertisement.
Salary: Rs. 16,000/- p.m. (consolidated) + HRA (as applicable) to JRF-qualified candidates. Lesser emoluments will be offered who have not qualified NET-JRF.
Duration: One year (Extendable to up to three years, subject to satisfactory performance).
