1) TECHNICAL ASSISTANT : 1 POST (Reserved for OBC) [Non-Creamy layer] (Sub: Epidemiology / Bio-Statistics)
- Pay Scale : PB. 2 : Rs 9300 – 34800 + GP 4200
- Age : Not exceeding 30 years
- Essential Qualification : 3 years Degree in Statistics with 2 years Experience (or) 3 years Degree in Statistics with 2 years Diploma in computer application from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification : Masters Degree in Statistics / Bio-Statistics with 2 years PG DCA and 2 years experience in a recognized institute/ hospital.
2) TECHNICAL ASSISTANT : 1POST (Reserved for SC) (Sub: Serology / Immunology)
- Pay Scale : PB. 2 : Rs 9300 – 34800 + GP 4200
- Age : Not exceeding 30 years
- Essential Qualification : 3 years Degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology) in relevant subject with 2 years Experience (or) 3 years Degree in science in relevant subject with 2 years Diploma (DMLT) in above mentioned or allied subjects from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification : Masters Degree in Biological (Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology) with 2 years DMLT and 2years experience in a recognized institute/ hospital.
Other Details. :
- Age relaxable by 5 years for Govt. Servants, SC, ST and Physically handicapped Candidates and by 3 years for OBC(Non-Creamy layer) subject to production of certificates from competent authorities.
- Benefits of New restructured defined Pension Scheme are admissible as per the Provision contained in the Ministry of Finance, Deptt. of Economic Affairs (ECB & PR Division) Notification No. 5/7/2003 –ECD & PR dated 22/12/2003 effective from 01/01/2004
- Applications on Plain paper along with Bio-data and attested copies of Certificates, Testimonials, Caste Certificate [SC/ST/Non-Creamy OBC Certificate for appointment in Govt. of India], experience Certificate shall be forwarded to the Director, National AIDS Research Institute(ICMR), Plot No. 73, ‘G’ Block, Bhosari, Pune - 411 026 before the due date.
- A Demand Draft or a Postal Order for Rs.100/- in favour of Director, NARI, Pune payable at Pune should be enclosed with the applications. SC/ST/ Physically handicapped candidates only are exempted from this payment.
- Application from Candidates working in Central/ State Government or PSU should be forwarded through proper channel.
- Separate application for each post with all necessary enclosures should be submitted quoting clearly the name and discipline of the post applied for.
- Incomplete / late application or those without Postal Orders/Demand Draft and without copies of Certificates will not be entertained and rejected.
- Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidate or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to Selection/recruitment shall be deemed as disqualification. Selection will be by Competitive test and Interview. Short listed candidates will be called for test and further short listed candidates only will be called for interview. The decision of the Director, NARI will be final in this regard.
