Project Title For various Consultancy and Grant-in-aid projects in ESDM Division
Project Assistant Level - II or Level - III
Educational Qualification Level II- 55% marks in M. Sc. (Environmental Science, Computer science, Geology, Geoinformatics) or MCA; Level III- M. Sc (Environmental Science, Computer science, Geology, Geoinformatics) or MCA or BE (Civil) plus two years experience or M. Tech (Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering) (This criteria will be relaxed by 5% in case of SC /ST candidate)
Desirable Qualification Knowledge of Autocad , GIS/RS
Job Requirement Digitization, RS data analysis, Preparation of maps, Programming, Data Analysis, Mathematical Modelling
Fixed Remuneration For Level II - Rs. 12,000/- pm For Level III- - Rs. 14,000/- pm
No. of positions One (may Vary) - Placement will be ESDM Division, NEERI, Nagpur
Age Limit Level II - 28 years Level III-32 Years (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidate as per GOI instruction)
The engagement of Project Assistant is purely on temporary basis, which may be extended or curtailed depending upon the duration of the project or satisfactory performance/ conduct of the appointee. The engagement will be co-terminus with the project duration. The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIR/NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization/absorption. Applicants are to appear for personal interview before the Selection Committee on March 24, 2011 at 11.30 AM in ESDM Div. No TA will be admissible for appearing in the interview. No separate call letter will be issued. Candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed educational qualification and also those having higher qualification need not apply. No interim inquiries will be entertained in this regard.
