Job Description
Thrombosis Research Institute, India (TRI, India) is a multi disciplinary free standing organization, established in Bangalore in October 2003 in association with Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital. There is currently 44 staff working in various departments.
The Institute is seeking application for the post of ‘Clinical Research Coordinator’ to supervise, coordinate and manage the various activities pertaining to clinical research at TRI. The Clinical Research unit of TRI, India. is actively involved in the organization of Indian Atherosclerosis Research Study (IARS), a family based study designed to enroll 15000 Indian subjects.
Job Responsibilities
Coordinator will ensure regulatory compliance and will act as the point person for the IARS clinical-study, overseeing all operational responsibilities. This includes scheduling of all clinic staff members, training of new staff members active recruitment and enrollment of participants into the study. Additionally, she prepares and prints all reports related to the study. Developing standard operating best practices for the clinical site, she sees to it that all remain in compliance with ICMR/DCI regulations.
Qualitative Requirements
Must be excellent communicators and have an eye for details. The candidate will be responsible for reporting and presenting to scientific and non-scientific colleagues and clients. Additionally, the successful candidate must be organized, possess the ability to priority, take initiative and commit to the completion of each assigned project.
Educational Requirements
BSc within biology, pharmacology or a related field. Preference will be towards a master's degree within a life science. Medical practitioners, registered nurses with clinical trial experience in a managerial capacity are encouraged to apply.
