PhD Entrance Examination: 2011
Applications are invited for enrollment in PhD Programme in Botany from post-graduate students of Botany (or allied disciplines subject to endorsement by the concerned PhD. Committee). Maximum up to 40 candidates will be selected on the basis of merit.
The candidates are advised to download the format of the Application Form from the University website (Admission Notification) and submit the filled in application to Head of the Department of Botany, C. U. after paying Rs. 100/- in cash or demand draft to the cash section of the University within 30th March, 2011. The eligibility of the candidate will be as per UGC Rules.
Those who have qualified in NET/SET/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship or already obtained M.Phil/ M.Tech./ M. Pharm degree would be exempted from the examination as per UGC rules. They are to sit for the interview on the schedule date.
