Notification for Admission into Ph.D Programme (2011-12)

Applications are invited for admission into Ph.D Programme in Environmental Studies,   Biotechnology

INFORMATION TO THE CANDIDATES

ADMISSION:

Ph.D programme in Environmental Studies, Biotechnology

(i) Admission is through an entrance examination conducted by JNTUH on May 29, 2011 and subsequent interview for candidates possessing Post Graduate qualifications in the concerned subjects with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
(ii) This Notification is being issued in accordance with the MOU entered into between JNIAS and JNTUH for offering Ph.D programmes and the final degrees would be awarded by JNTUH, Hyderabad.
(iii) All admissions for the academic programmes of the Institute are Nationwide and the rule of reservation will apply.

(ii) The duly filled-in applications together with attested copies of certificates and a Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) (in case of SC/ST candidates Rs. 500/- (Rupee Five hundred only)) drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of the Registrar, JNIAS, payable at Hyderabad should reach the Registrar, Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Advanced Studies (JNIAS), 6th Floor, Buddha Bhawan, M.G. Road, Secunderabad – 500003, Andhra Pradesh, India on or before 30.04.2011 by 05.00 P.M.

(iii) Applications received, without copies of Certificates in support of the qualifications, experience etc., and without a photograph shall be rejected.
