Project Assistant (P.A.)

Applications are invited for the position of Project Assistant in UGC sponsored major research project entitled “Biodegradation of halogenated hydrocarbons using a novel fungal system” at Institute of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology (IBB).

Qualifications : M.Sc. Degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Science in first class. This Fellowship is for the period of three years (2011 to 2014) and will be given as per UGC, New Delhi rules and regulations. Preference will be given to candidates who have research experience.

Application on plain paper with detailed Biodata along with recent photograph and 2 recommendation letters should be addressed to Dr. Ameeta Ravikumar, Reader, Institute of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology, University of Pune, Pune 411 007. The applications should reach on or before 23rd April. Interviews will be held on 27th April at 11: 00 a.m. at IBB. No T.A. and D.A. will be paid for attending the interviews.
