DBT -UR Interdisciplinary Programme of Life Science for Advance Research and Education (DBT-UR-IPLS)

Applications are invited on plain paper for the following purely temporary project positions in the DBT-UR Interdisciplinary Programme of Life Science for Advance Research and Education (IPLS), Centre for Converging Technologies, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur supported by Department of Biotechnology, Govt of India. The positions are co-terminus with the expiry of the project support from the DBT.

Junior Research Fellows (Four):

Qualification: MSc/MTech in any branch of Life Science or any interdisciplinary degree relevant to Life Science research.

The JRF may be registered for Ph.D. as per the University procedures.

Technical Officers (Two):

Qualification: PhD or MSc/MTech Life Science with experience of handling the sophisticated instruments such as Confocal microscope, SEM-TEM, NMR, GC/LC-MS. HPLC, Bioinformatics tools as evidenced form publications or experience.

Assistant Professor (One):

Qualification: As per UGC norms in any branch of Life Science. The selections for the post will be made on all India basis by an expert committee which will also have a nominee of the DBT.

Experience and Desirable Qualifications: Experience of working in one or more of the following fields as evidenced from published work. Secondary metabolites, Nanobiotechnology, Plant Tissue Culture and Transgenesis, working with analytical tools such as HPLC, GC-MS, SEM-TEM, Spectroscopy and rDNA technology.
