DBT Project Establishing the relationship between responses in multiple neuronal pathways converging on a common centre
The project would involve invivo electrophysiological recording and computational work. Eligible candidates can apply with their CV along with copies of certificates of educational qualifications. The amount of fellowship will depend on qualifications and is specified here: http://dbtindia.nic.in/DBT%20RA%20stipend.pdf. Last date for receiving the application is 15-5-2011
Disciplines and requirements : Masters in any Science subject or in a Professional course and willingness to learn and do wet laboratory experiments. Some one from disciplines like electrical engineering, control engineering or instrumentation engineering with interest in biology and neuroscience, if they have done well in academics and has GATE.
Duration : Initially for 1 year, then renewable for the duration of the project
If a suitable candidate is not found for the position then he/she may be considered for a project fellow’s position at a lower fellowship.
