WALK-IN INTERVIEW

Walk-in Interview on 18.05.2011

NAIP (GEF) Project “Harmonizing biodiversity conservation and agricultural intensification through integration of plant, animal and fish genetic resources for livelihood security in fragile ecosystems (Component 3: SRLS).” The project will be operative in Chamba (Himachal Pradesh), Udaipur (Rajasthan) and Adilabad (Andhra Pradesh) districts. The project period is from September, 2009 to 31^st March 2013, and posts are coterminous with the project.

Research Associate

The candidates have to work in Chamba (Himachal Pradesh), Udaipur (Rajasthan) or Adilabad (Andhra Pradesh) districts under rural conditions.

Essential: Ph.D in Animal Sciences/Veterinary Sciences/ Relevant subject or Masters degree with minimum 60% marks or equivalent OGPA and two years experience.

Desirable: Candidate having aptitude and working experience on biodiversity, animal production, and socio-economic surveys at community level.

Emolument :

Rs. 23,000 + HRA for Master degree holders and

Rs. 24,000 + HRA for Doctoral degree holders

HRA will be paid as per ICAR norms

Senior Research Fellow: One post:

Emoluments:

Rs 16,000 + HRA for first and second year and Rs 18,000 + HRA for third year for Post Graduate in subjects other than veterinary science.

Rs 18,000 + HRA for first and second year and Rs 20,000+ HRA for third year for Post Graduate in veterinary science.

Age Limit

35 years for men

40 years for women as on date of interview

Note: Relaxation of age admissible for SC/ST&OBC candidates as per Govt. of India /ICAR norms.

1) The candidates should bring a copy of bio-data, original-certificates, one set of photocopies of Certificates. Experiences certificates if any, a latest passport Size photograph at the time of interview.

2) The above positions are purely temporary and coterminous with the project. No T.A. / D.A will be paid to any candidate to attend the interview.

3) The director’s decision will be final and binding on all aspects.
