UGC funded major research project Metabolic engineering of a lactic acid bacterial isolate for biotransformation of ferulic acid to vanillin.
The tenure of the project is from 2/2/2011 to 2/2/2014.
Project fellow
Qualifications: M.Sc. with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PH) in Biotech/ Microbial and food technology/Life Sciences or M. Phil (Biotechnology). Project fellow should be below the age of 40 years at the time of appointment.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in molecular biology techniques (gene cloning, transformation and expression in bacterial host).
Emoluments: Rs. 8000/- p.m. plus HRA.
