WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
Senior Research Fellow
NASI sponsored Project entitled “Biodiversity of Himalayan Alpines – developing baseline to assess climate change impacts” on 30th June 2011 (Thursday) at 11:00 AM in the Office of the Head, Department of Botany, Faculty of Science.
Eligibility: M.Sc. in Botany, Environmental sciences, Biostatistics Molecular Biology and any related area of plant sciences with at least two years of research experience and sound knowledge in plant systematics, biostatistics and/or application and use of molecular characterization tools.
The research project envisages to develop methodologies for assessment of climate change impacts on Himalayan alpine biodiversity.
Interested candidates may attend the walk-in-interview with the detailed biodata alongwith attested copies of testimonials/certificates. The appointment will initially be upto January 2012 (likely to be extended for two years), subject to satisfactory performance, or till the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.
Selected candidate will be paid emoluments as per NASI rules. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
