Walk-in Interview

The following purely temporary positions in are to be held in three ad-hoc projects for varying period on time to time extension. The posts are co-terminous with the project.

Project-1: Developing a framework for predicting malaria outbreaks in rural and urban areas of Gujarat and Rajasthan in India.

1. Research Scientist (One)

Essential Qualification: 1st class M.Sc in life Sciences/ Biostatistics

Desirable Qualification: Three years research experience in relevant field/ Ph.D in related field with computer and analytical skill.

Pay: Rs. 15600/-+ Grade pay 5400/- + HRA (Consolidated)

Age: 35 years

Note: At present the project is for a period of about one year with possibility of extension.

Project-2 : Micro-stratification of Malaria in problematic districts of Rajasthan for development of strategic action plan for control. The project is for a period of two years.

1. Sr Research fellow (One)

Essential Qualification – M.Sc life sciences/ M A Geography/ M.Sc Remote Sensing

Desirable Qualification: Two years research experience in the relevant field

Pay: RS 18000/- + HRA

Age: 32 years

Project-3: Climate variability and Dengue in Delhi: a retrospective study. The project is up to December 15, 2011 only.

1. Research Assistant (One)

Essential Qualification- M.Sc life sciences/M A Sociology

Desirable Qualification: Field experience in relevant field

Pay: Rs. 22355 /- (Consolidated)

Age: 28 years

Interested and qualified candidates may walk in for interview on 29th June 2011 at 10:30 am. at NIMR, Delhi in the office of Director along with their original credentials and NOC from the employer if already employed. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview. Interested candidates may send their bio-data to the Director-in-Charge in advance. Relaxation in the age for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per govt rules.
