UGC sponsored Major Research Project A study on the diversity of angiosperms in Barail Wildlife Sanctuary, Assam with special reference to assessment of rare, endangered and threatened (RET) taxa on 02.08.2011 at 11.00 am in the Department of Life Science & Bioinformatics, Assam University, Silchar.

The post is totally on temporary basis with monthly fellowship of Rs. 8000.00 for a period of three years and is co-terminus with the project.

Interested candidates may report the undersigned on 02.08.2011 at 10.00 am with all original and relevant documents along with the photocopies.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

Eligibility: M.Sc. in Botany/Life Science/Ecology/Forestry/Biodiversity with 55% of marks, preferably with specialization in Taxonomy of angiosperms.
