Project Development of a hybrid process for biogas generation potential from complex industrial effluent: Experimental and Modeling studies (NEERI-IISc)
Prescribed educational qualification First class B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engg. /Biochemical Engg. /Biotechnology or M.Sc. in Chemistry (GATE or NET qualified candidates will get opportunity to register for Ph.D. and B.Tech. students can register for M.Tech.)
Job requirement
• Development of hybrid process for selective pre-treatment of complex effluent and biogas generation potential
• Characterization of model effluent for organic and colour pre & post treatment using LCMS and NMR
• Engineering analysis and process optimization
• Process modeling using BIC ( in collaboration with IISc)
4. Consolidated fixed remuneration (p.m.) Rs.12,000/-
6. Duration of the project 3 years
7. Age limit 28 years (relaxation admissible as per rules of Govt. of India)

Applicants are to appear for a personal interview (with original documents and work reports) before the selection committee on 1/08/2011 at 10.30 am in Room No. 108 of the Environmental Biotechnology Division. No TA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. No separate interview call letter will be issued. Candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed educational qualification will not be interviewed.
No interim inquires will be entertained in this regard.
