Detailed notification for filling up of faculty positions

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has established Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) in 2008 to cater to the educational needs of the meritorious rural youth of Andhra Pradesh. Three campuses of RGUKT were started under the University, one each at Basar (Adilabad Dt), Nuzvid (Krishna Dt), Rajiv Knowledge Valley (Kadapa Dt).

RGUKT invites applications in the prescribed format from qualified and eligible candidates for filling the following positions either on deputation/lien basis or on contractual basis for a period of three years.

Retired faculty members with eminence from IITs/NITs/IIITs/IIMs/Central Universities/State Universities etc below the age of 65 years will also be considered for appointment on contract basis.

3. PAY AND ALLOWANCES

Professor: Pay scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP Rs. 10500 – Pay to be fixed is Rs. 48,000/- per month

Associate Professor: Pay scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP Rs. 9500/-(PB-4) Pay to be fixed is Rs. 42,800/- per month

Assistant Professor: Rs. 15,600-39,000 with AG Rs, 8000/ (PB-3) minimum pay to be fixed is Rs. 30,000/- per month

Before applying online the candidate should draw a Demand Draft for Rs.500/-in respect of under General and OBC categories and Rs. 300/- in respect of SC/ST/PH categories towards registration fee in favor of Registrar, RGUKT, payable at Hyderabad After applying online the candidates should take a print out of the application and send application along with prescribed registration feeand proof of eligibility i.e Qualification
