Positions in Indo-Australia Bilateral Research Project
Discovery and manipulation of miRNAs involved in high-temperature tolerance in crop plants sanctioned by DBT under Indo-Australia Biotechnology Fund to Dr. Sunil Mukherjee (sunilm@icgeb.res.in) and Dr. Neeti Sanan Mishra (neeti@icgeb.res.in).
The project will include possibilities to visit and undertake research training in the Australian Laboratories at University of Queensland and at Monash University, Melbourne. Details will be soon available on the ICGEB, New Delhi website.
1) PDF [Research Associate (II)]
(23000/- +HRA).
Minimum qualification Ph.D. in Life sciences, preferably with research experience in handling rice transformation. Knowledge of molecular biology techniques and RNAi biology is desirable.
2) Senior Research Fellow
(18000/- +HRA).
Minimum qualification First Class M.Sc. in Bioinformatics with knowledge of LINUX, preferably with experience in handling deep sequencing data. NET-qualified candidates will be preferred.
3) Senior Research Fellow
(18000/- +HRA).
Minimum qualification First Class M.Sc. in Life science with sound knowledge of molecular biology techniques, preferably with experience in handling RNA. NET-qualified candidates will be preferred.
