RGNF MPhil/PhD Fellowships for SC/STs (2667 Scholarships) 2011
(On-line SUBMISSION INTERFACE WILL BE AVAILABLE ON 30TH JULY, 2011 ONWARDS)
University Grants Commission invites applications for the award of 2000 fellowships for SC candidates and 667 fellowships for ST candidates for the year 2011-12 respectively under Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowships for SCs/STs to undertake advanced studies and research in Sciences, Engineering & Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences in Indian universities & colleges for pursuing full time studies leading to MPhil/PhD degree.
This fellowship is applicable only for those SC/ST candidates who are not availing of the benefit of JRF of UGC-NET or UGC-CSIR NET.
Selections will be made on the basis of merit. The guidelines of the scheme, detailed terms and conditions of the fellowship, eligibility, state wise distribution of 2000 fellowships for SC candidates and 667 fellowships for ST candidates may be seen by logging in the UGC website at: (www.ugc.ac.in).
The applications in the prescribed format may be submitted only through on-line mode latest by 30th August, 2011 (non-extendable) by logging in website: www.ugc.ac.ln/rgnf
The decision of the Commission with regard to selection of candidates for the award of fellowships shall be final.
NOTE:·
1. Applications submitted only through online mode shall be entertained and no application submitted in hard copy shall be entertained or considered for award of fellowship under any circumstances whatsoever.
2. Record of tha candidates, who have not bean selected, shall not be preserved beyond three months from the date of declaration of results.
