PROJECT DISSERTATION PROGRAMME FOR FINAL YEAR M.Sc. /M.Tech. / M.Pharm./ B.E. (Biotechnology)/ B.Tech(Biotechnology) STUDENTS

LaCONES (Laboratory for the Conservation of Endangered Species), Annexe I, CCMB, is situated at Attapur, Hyderguda, Hyderabad 500 048. The laboratory has all facilities for Modern Biology and would like to initiate a project dissertation programme during the academic year 2011-2012 for students who have completed their first year of M.Sc. /M.Tech/ M.Pharm (in any area of Biology) and three years of B.E. or B.Tech. (Biotechnology). Students who are in the final semester of any of the above courses are not eligible.

Only students who are willing to spend a minimum period of 4 months to a maximum of six months, without any break, would be eligible for the programme. Candidates interested in the above training programme should apply online. The last date for applying is August 25, 2011. Name of the selected candidates would be posted on the CCMB website by September 20, 2011. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

Selected candidates may please note that the programme is free and LaCONES would not provide any financial aid for transport and stay during the programme.

A hard copy of the letter signed by the Head of the Department and the student in the format given below should be sent to Dr.S.Shivaji, Scientist incharge LaCONES, CCMB, Uppal Road, Hyderabad 500 007. Please mention clearly "Project dissertation program 2011-12" on the envelope.

ONLINE APPLICATION FORMS WOULD BE EVALUATED ONLY AFTER THE HARD COPY OF THE CERTIFICATE / RECOMMENDATION LETTER FROM THE HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT IS ALSO RECEIVED BEFORE AUGUST 30, 2011.
