Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Advanced Studies (JNIAS) invites applications for the post of Research Assistant to provide research support to the ongoing project works at center for biotechnology. The successful candidate will assist in research projects using methods in cell and molecular biology.
Qualifications: M.Sc in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology or any branch of Life sciences.
Experience: Experience in Molecular biology techniques, Protein Purification techniques, Electrophoresis etc.We welcome candidates who have previously worked in industrial as well as academic settings.
Skills required - Knowledge of PCR, electrophoresis, cloning, library construction, Western Blot, ELISA, expression of recombinant proteins and tissue culture techniques and other routinely used equipments in lab .
