ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR M.TECH. BIOTECHNOLOGY / M.TECH. BIOINFORMATICS FOR THE ACADENMIC YEAR 2011-2012
MIET is one of the oldest institute established in Uttar Pradesh in 1997 and has been the pioneer of technical education in the state and known for quality education and it’s results and placements. UPTU had conducted survey for awarding Academic Excellence Awards in the year 2008 and 2009 MIET has won the Academic Excellence Award for 2008 and again for 2009 i.e. for both consecutively. The Course Biotechnology, Department of Biotechnology, MIET is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). MIET has state of art, infrastructure and outstanding faculty.

Applications are invited for admission to full time M.Tech. Biotechnology and M.Tech. Bioinformatics in Meerut Institute of Engineering & Technology, Meerut affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University, Noida (Extension of Formerly UPTU, Lucknow).
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have a minimum of 55% in Master of Science degree from any recognized University as equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, Life sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics or any other life science related courses. B.E./B.Tech. Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Bachelor of Pharma, Agriculture, Veterinary, and MBBS are also eligible for ADMISSION.
Candidates who have appeared for the MSc./B.E./B.Tech.final exams, and results awaited, can also apply. Upon selection, a provisional degree certificate should be submitted in the college within four weeks of course commencement.
Last date for ADMISSION: August 31, 2011.
NOTE: Fellowships are available for all candidates having valid GATE score card.
