DBT funded research project Insect hormones and insulin signaling in silkworm, Bombyx mori under fed and starved conditions: a study at molecular level sanctioned to Dr. Bela Keshan, Department of Zoology, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong – 793022.

1. Junior Research Fellow – 02 (Two) posts.

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Zoology/Life Sciences. Candidates with DBT –JRF or NET and working experience in Molecular Biology techniques will be preferred.

Duration: Three Years

Emolument: Rs.12000/- per month for the 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 14000/- per month for the 3rd year plus 10% HRA (Rs. 16000/- per month for the 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 18000/- per month for the 3rd year plus 10% HRA for NET qualified)

2. Lab Assistant - 01 (One) post.

Emolument: Rs.5000/- pm (consolidated)

Desirable: Two years of laboratory and field work experience

Duration: Three Years
