The National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi would like to recruit Scientist in the grade of Staff Scientist - II, for operating the Flow Cytometer Sorter. The appointment shall be temporary in project mode, tenable till March 2014, with pay and allowances etc. admissible as per the recommendations of Vlth Pay Commission of the Government.

Other benefits include Medical reimbursement for self only.

Job Description - Maintenance, supervision and operation of Flow Cytometer machines used for detecting low level fiuorescent labelling of particles, computerized data processing for wide variety of applications, analysis of data using appropriate software, installing and operating dedicated acquisition / analytical softwares, help in planning and
execution of experiments using flow cytometry and training new users. Candidates should possess R&D experience in biomedical imaging, instrumentation operation and maintenance, experimental design and execution. Experience in fiow cytometry would be preferred.

QUALIFICATION & PAY STRUCTURE:

Staff Scientist 11- Pay Structure - Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade pay of RS.5400

Qualification -1 class M. Tech I M.Sc. with 3 years relevant experience OR M.D. / Ph.D.
