Description

DuPont Ag-Biotech has an immediate opening at the DuPont Knowledge Center in the ICICI Knowledge Park in Hyderabad, India for a Research Associate with industrial/academic experience in plant tissue culture and genetic transformation

Successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for plant genetic transformation

Qualifications

M.Sc. degree in Agriculture/Plant Biology/ Biotechnology or related field

Excellent tissue culture skills

Experience with agrobacterium mediated transformation of crop species

Experience with biolistic transformation will be an added advantage

Good communication skills and team work capabilities

Ability and motivation to learn new technologies.

Familiarity with DNA sequence manipulation software is desirable

Excellent organizational & inter-personal skills.
