Application are invited for the post of JRF(Non-medical) with a Salary/Stipend/Fellowship of Rs.16,000 + 20% HRA in a Rapid Grant of Young Investigators Scheme 2011, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, sponsored project entitled “Epigenetic Assessment of Gallbladder Cancer.” sanctioned up to three years. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
The candidate should be post graduate in Biomedical Technology/Engineering/ Any specialization in technology subject such in pharmacy, agro and food (ex. Biotechnology/ Pharmaco-technology /Agro-technology /Food technology/ Bioinformatics) from UGC supported recognized university/institute (NET, GATE will be preferable) from UGC supported recognized university/institute with 55% marks.
The Age Limit is 28 Years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped candidates). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will preferred as per GOI rules.
Desirable Qualifications: Preference will be given to that candidate having at least one year work experience in any of above mentioned subject with knowledge of biomedical instrumentation and usage of computers and basic statistics.
