Applications from Indian nationals are invited for following two temporary positions under the project "Enhancement of innate mucosal immunity with probiotic supplement to protect against infectious diseases" funded by DBT, India in the School of Biological Sciences, NISER.
1. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF) :
QUALIFICATION: M.Sc. (minimum 55% marks) in Life Sciences / Biotechnology /Microbiology / Zoology / Botany / Biochemistry / Molecular Biology / Physiology / or any other similar stream in Biosciences.
Candidates with prior experience in animal cell culture and/or small animal (mice/rat/chicks) handling will get preference.
All candidates should have valid CSIR·UGC JRF / GATE qualification.
Fellowship: –Rs. 12,000/· + HRA (as per DBT norms)
AGE: 28 years as on 29.02.2012, age relaxation to entitled categories as per DBT rules.
Last Date of Receipt of Application: . 29.02.2012.
The above positions are purely temporary, initially for a period of one year (likely to be extended further) but strictly co-tenninous with the project. It would, therefore, not confer any right/ claim, implicit, olr explicit for consideration/absorption against any NISER post.

Original documents should be produced at the time of interview. The selection will be made on the basis of interview of suitable applicants and date will be communicated to the shortlisted applicants later.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate, if called for interview or joining the position.
