Applications are invited for purely project based temporary position of Junior Research Fellow in UCOST funded project ‘Twisted chir pine in Uttarakhand: Molecular marker for early detection of twisted trait at the nursery stage’ Candidate having appropriate qualifications in relevant subject/specialization with good academic records and experience may apply.

Qualification

First class Masters degree in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ or
M.Tech Biotechnology

Desirable

Experience in basic molecular biology techniques like DNA isolation and PCR etc.

Nature of duties

· To conduct survey in remote areas
· Molecular and biochemical analysis

Age limit: Maximum 28 Yrs. Relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC as per Govt. of India norms.
