PSN National Awards for Excellence in Science and Technology 2012
Nominations are invited for PSN National Awards for Excellence in Science and Technology under the following categories:
1. PSN National Award for excellence in Engineering
2. PSN National Award for excellence in Science
3. PSN National Award for excellence in Rural Technology
4. PSN National Award for excellence in Environmental Science and Engineering
Each Award consists of,
• A Medal
• A Citation
• A Cash Award of Rs 1,00,000 (Rupees One lakh only)
• A Shield for the winning institution, as applicable
The criteria of selection for each category are given in the website www.psnresearch.ac.in/psnawards.html
The prospective candidates shall send six hard copies of their nominations through their respective Heads of Institutions or Former PSN National Awardees, to the Convener of the award giving full details of their designation/post held, affiliation, details of the work to be considered for the Award, Highlights of the special achievement of the work, specific application/problem solving achieved, import substitution, etc. on or before 30 June 2012.
