Application are invited for the different Posts of DBT Funded project on (1) Methanogenomics (2) Nasopharyngeal Cancer and (3) Butterfly in the Department of Biotechnology, Assam University – 788011 under Prof. S K Ghosh within 20th June (by mail at profskghoshdbtprojects@gmail.com)
(1) Methanogenomics (Twining with JNU, New Delhi)
(2) Nasopharyngeal Cancer [with ILS (DBT), AIIMS, CCHRC, BBCI and other civil hospitals of Northeast-India]
(3) Anticancer property of Butterfly (Twining with Mizoram University, Mizoram, PSG Tech, Coimbatore) Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi, to be run under the Department. of Biotechnology, Assam University, Silchar (AUS) under Prof. S.K. Ghosh, as Principal Investigator.
The positions are purely temporary and will be governed by the Administrative rules/ service conditions of the University/DBT.

Masters Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/ Life Science (Zoology/Biochemistry with good academic records and laboratory skills on Molecular biology/ bioinformatics/ working with cancer will be given advantages.
Rs. 12000+10% HRA (for non NET/GATE) or 16000+10% HRA for NET GATE
2 JRF – 1 (one) (Nasopharyngeal Cancer)

Masters Degree in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/ Life Science (Zoology/Biochemistry with good academic records and laboratory skills on Molecular biology/ working experience will be given advantages.
Rs. 12000+10% HRA
3 JRF – 1 (one) (Anticancer property of Butterfly)

Masters Degree in Biotechnology/ Life Science (Zoology/Biochemistry with good academic records and laboratory skills on Molecular biology/ bioinformatics/ working with cancer will be given advantages.

4 Lab Technician – 1 (one) (Nasopharyngeal Cancer)

Degree in Science/ 10+2 pass with laboratory experience.
Rs. 8280/- P. M. (Consolidated)
Relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/Minorities/women candidates as per Govt. rules.
Note: (i) No TA/DA will be paid for their appearing in the interview.
