Call for Walk-in-Interview for RA/JRF/SRF Position

Applications are invited for a walk in interview to be held in the Conference Room of the Department of Biotechnology on June 21, 2012 at 2:30 pm onward for a temporary position of RA/ SRF/JRF in a DBT, Govt. of India funded project entitled " Studies on trypanothione synthetase, a key enzyme of redox metabolism of Leishmania donovani.”

Scale of pay for Research Associate: @Rs. 22000+20% HRA

JRF/SRF: As per DBT norms

Qualification: PhD in Biotechnology or related subjects.

Candidates with M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent degree Biotechnology or related subjects will be considered for JRF or SRF. Fellowship for JRF/SRF will be as per DBT norms. Candidates with experience in protein crystallography will be preferred.

Terms: Appointment will be initially made for a period of one (1) year and may be
extended for up to maximum duration of the project.

Application & Selection procedure: Candidates have to appear in the walk-in-interview in person along with an application/CV (with passport size photograph) on plain paper giving details of all educational qualifications, experience and submit photocopies of relevant documents at the time of interview. Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview. Candidates will not be sent any interview call letter separately. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for appearing in the interview.
