Applications are invited from qualified individuals for the following post, sponsored by the DBT project entitled “Identification of miRNAs essential for B cell fate commitment of multipotent hematopoietic progenitors” (BT/PR1825/AGR/36/679/2011).

M.Sc or M.Tech. in Bioinformatics with knowledge in Computational Biology

Rs.12,000 + HRA Initial appointment is for one year and subjected to renewal up to 3 years

Dr. Pongubala’s laboratory is investigating the molecular pathways that control the development of innate and adaptive immune cell types utilizing a combination of genetic, molecular and computational approaches. Responsibility of the JRF is to employ cutting-edge tools and develop methods and algorithms for genome-wide analysis to identify the changes in expression patterns of transcription factors and miRNAs as well as to capture alterations of chromatin dynamics during B cell fate commitment.

Applicants should note that the appointment is purely temporary and subjected to renewal up to three years and there is no Right to Claim for any regular appointment with the University.
