Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the research project funded by SERB, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, Government of India at the Department of Biotechnology, Karpagam University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
The details of requirement are as given below:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Essential qualification 1st class M.Sc./M.Phil. in Agriculture/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Genetic Engineering/Life Sciences from recognized University.
Preferred qualification NET/GATE or previous research experience in plant tissue culture, plant transformation and molecular biology techniques is desirable
Salary As per SERB, DST norms
Project title ‘Over-expression of Sugarcane MYB Transcription Factor Genes for Drought Stress Tolerance in Tomato – An Emerging Model Fruit Crop’
Duration of the project Three years
Age limit 28 years
