Project Title: Molecular Breeding and Agronomic Evaluation of Wild Relatives of Common Bean for Nutritional Quality and Disease Resistance

Funding Agency: University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, Government of India

Fellowship: Rs. 14,000 + HRA for first two years and Rs. 16,000 + HRA for third year

Duration of the project: Three Years

Essential Qualifications: First class M.Sc. in Botany / Plant Science / Genetics / Biotechnology /Microbiology / Life Sciences / Biosciences)

Desirable Qualifications: Preference will be given to those who have NET/GATE/SET/SLET etc. and good experience in biotechnology/molecular biology techniques and field collection experiences.
