Subject: Ad-hoc appointment of Staff under time -bound Research Project, sponsored by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi.
Applications are invited (by Post or in person, at the address mentioned below) within 15 days from the date of advertisement ( on or before 18th August, 2012) for ad-hoc appointment of One Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and One Laboratory Attendant under time bound Research Project entitled “Effect of Natural HIV-1 accessory Vpu gene variants from North India on P53 mediated apoptosis” sponsored by ICMR (Govt. of India) for a period of three years, depending on the progress of the work and approval of the funding agency.
1. Junior Research Fellow – One
Salary- @ Rs. 16,000 plus 30% HRA per month
Qualifications: M.Sc. degree or M.Tech. (with CGPA ≥ 6.5 or 60% marks) in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Toxicology/Biosciences/Biomedical sciences/Environmental Sciences or Equivalent degree with good academic background. Aptitude for research in the area of Virology/Microbiology//Genetics/ Molecular Biology/Immunology etc. and its application in the area of health and diseases will be preferred.
Age limit: 28 years; relaxation as per Govt. of India rules.
2. Lab Attendant- One
Salary: Rs 11,581/- consolidated as per ICMR norms.
Qualification: 10th Pass preferably with laboratory work experience
Age limit: 28 years; relaxation as per Govt. of India rules.
No accommodation/medical benefits etc. will be applicable and no TA/DA would be paid for attending the interview.
