ANNOUNCEMENT NO: ICSR/CA/49/2012

Applications are invited for the following one temporary post for the CSIR project on “Targeting dynein light chain 1(DLC1) to overcome radiation induced aneuploidy and radio-resistance in breast cancer” in the Department of BIOTECHNOLOGY.

DURATION: Initially for a period of one year likely to be extendable for a further period.

Junior Research Fellow (or) Research Associate

M.Sc in Biochemistry / Chemistry/ Life science with valid GATE /NET

Ph.D in Biochemistry / Chemistry / Life science

Rs.12,000/-
Rs.16,000/-

Candidates will be eligible for House Rent Allowance as per Institute norms, subject to eligibility.

DESIRABLE: Practical experience in Cell culture work and synthesis of fussed library.

Candidates should not be a recipient of Research Fellowship (i.e. HTRA), if so give details of the date(s) and amount of award, duration, name of the concerned Scheme / Principal Investigator / Institution & supporting agency.

Other things being equal, preference will be given to SC/ST candidates.

The Co-ordinator has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the announcement.
