CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory

CSIR-NCL invites applications for PhD programme of the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) in Sciences for the January 2013 session. Candidates are requested to go through the details under various links on the left side.

Applications are to be submitted online. Direct link for online application will be available on this page from 29 September 2012.

Eligibility Criteria:

PhD Programme in Sciences:

(i) Masters degree in Chemical/Physical/Biological and related Sciences/Technology or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/Medicine or B.S (of 4 year duration)

AND

(ii) A valid research fellowship (JRF/SRF) offer from UGC/CSIR/DBT/ICMR/BINC/DST-INSPIRE or any other equivalent research fellowship.

Admission criteria for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Handicapped candidates is relaxable as per GoI rules.

Important: Candidates without any valid research fellowship as mentioned above or those who have qualified only the CSIR/UGC lectureship (LS) category or GATE are not eligible to apply for PhD programme in Science. Such applications will not be considered.

All candidates are requested to correctly specify their roll number or any other number in the published list of JRF examination results on the internet and the correct date of examination, under the fellowship details in the online application.
