Applications are invited on plain paper from eligible candidates latest by October 22, 2012 for the purely temporary position given below, under the Department of
Biotechnology, Government of India, BTISnet Project entitled “Creation of Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility for the Promotion of Biology teaching through Bioinformatics” at Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility, Department of Biochemistry, Lucknow University, Lucknow. The engagement will be made purely on the temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. The engagement can be terminated at any given time without notice or without assigning any reason thereof. The person engaged shall not be entitled for any claim implicit or explicit for absorption in the University.
1. Name of the Position: Research Assistant (one)
2. Remuneration : 16,000/- Per Month + HRA
3. Qualification:
i) Essential: M.Sc. in Bioinformatics/Master of Computer Application with First division
ii) Desirable: Candidates with experience in QSAR analysis, molecular modeling, docking, database creation and software development will be preferred.
Candidates are required to submit their application along with a recent passport size photograph, resume and attested copies of all relevant certificates in support of their age, category, educational and experience etc., to the undersigned.
The date of interview will be informed latter to the short-listed candidates through
email / phone. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
