Hyderabad SRF Vacancy on Deciphering molecular mechanism of induction of biotic stress tolerance by Trichoderma

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates (Indian Nationals Only) for the temporary post in the research project titled “Deciphering molecular mechanism of induction of biotic stress tolerance by Trichoderma spp. in castor (Ricinus communis.)” sanction order F.No. NFBSFARA/BS-3007/2012-13 of ICAR, New Delhi as mentioned below:

Senior Research Fellow: 01 post

Qualification: Biochemistry, M.Sc., Molecular Biology, M.Sc., Biotechnology, M.Sc., (Ag) in Genetics and Plant Breeding, M.Sc. Microbiology or in any branch of Life Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. NET/GATE qualification is desirable

2. Should possess the following:

i. Research experience and publications if any shall be considered.
ii. Working knowledge of induced systemic resistance, experience in proteomic work using MALDI-TOF and HPLC, culturing and handling plant infecting fungal organisms, eg. Trichoderma spp.
iii. Planning research experiments independently
iv. Ability to meet the deadlines and work in cooperation with the research team.
v. Field work including growing plants and ability to follow PIs instructions in carrying out field experiments and data collection.
