Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is an autonomous super-specialty institute of excellence under Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. Its vision is to be a global leader by becoming a beacon of patient care, teaching and research in the field of Liver and Biliary diseases and allied disciplines. ILBS has a Deemed-to-be-University status conferred to it by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.

The institute is inviting application for Ph.D./PDCC courses in the academic session January 2013, as per the details given below:

Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences - 02 Seats

Eligibility M.Sc./M.B.B.S/ MS/MD/DNB

HOW TO APPLY

Candidate must ensure their eligibility from the prospectus before applying. Candidate should submit their application online at the ILBS website (http://www.ilbs.in). Candidates seeking sponsorship may submit their application online. However, the application for in-service candidates must be routed through proper channel. The application fees in the form of demand draft of Rs. 2500/- payable at New Delhi in favor of “Director, ILBS, New Delhi should reach by post to the Associate Dean, Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS), D-1, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, 110070 on or before 5:00 PM of 30/11/2012.

Application fee once paid will not be refunded even in case of his/her application is rejected. The filled in applications received after the prescribed date and time shall not be considered. There is one sponsored seat available in courses mentioned at Sr. No. 4, 5, 6 & 7.

PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION Selection of candidates for PhD/PDCC courses will be made on the basis of all India entrance test. All applications would be screened for eligibility and only the eligible candidates would be called for the entrance test. The schedule of entrance test is as follows:

• Written Examination at New Delhi 09th December, 2012 (Sunday)
• Departmental assessment 10th December,2012 (Monday)
The courses shall commence from 01/01/2013

    its fine...
    they will take Rs.2500 as exam fees
    its fine....
    and the most funny case....only 2 seats.....
    Is there any govt. organisations to see these kinds of discriminations????
