HOW TO APPLY:

Interested candidates can download application form and detailed information from Institute website www.mitsgwalior.in and submit duly filled application in the prescribed format along with self attested documents & Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 800/- in case of SC/ST of M.P. Domicile ). Demand Draft should be made in favour of Director MITS, Gwalior payable at Gwalior.

Candidates who have applied earlier against our advertisement no. 2011/01 dated 17/06/2011 need not to submit the fee. If he/she is applying for the same post & Department .However, they have to submit fresh prescribed application form.

Application completed in all respect along with fee & NOC from Present Employer should reach to the office of The Director, MITS, Race Course Road, Gola ka Mandir, Gwalior-474005 on or before 30.10.2012 upto 5.00pm.

Candidates are advised to read the following important notes/instructions carefully before filling up the application form

1. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/ PH etc. will be as per norms. Candidates having domicile of M.P. are eligible for reserved category posts.

2. SC/ST/OBC candidates of outside M.P. shall be considered under unreserved category.

3. If a class/division is not awarded at B.E./B.Tech., M.E./M.Tech./ or any equivalent degree, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to 1st class/division. If grade point to percentage conversion is not provided in the document then the CGPA will be converted to equivalent percentage (marks) as below.

4. Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications and aptitude/experience in research.

5. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should apply separately for each post in the prescribed manner.

6. Candidates from other institutions of high repute may also apply with option to join on deputation for a period not less than three years alongwith NOC for the same from their parent organization.

7. Candidates already employed should send their application through proper channel.

8. Institute reserves the right to vary the number of posts mentioned in the advertisement.

9. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for the post.

10. No interim enquiries/correspondence/communication of any sort will be entertained on the matter.

11. The prescribed Essential Qualifications/Experience indicated in the advertisement are bare minimum and mere possession of same will not entitle the candidate to be called for interview. Where number of applications received are large, the institute may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience possessed in the relevant field, over and above the minimum qualifications. Further short listing norms may not be uniform across the departments of the Institute.

12. Relaxation in educational qualification and/or experience will be considered in case of exceptionally meritorious candidates, with prior approval of the competent authority.

13. Original documents with one set of self attested copies will have to be submitted at the time of interview for verification.

14. Application incomplete in any respect and not accompanied by relevant certificates/documents/photograph/ required fee may be rejected.

15. All qualifications, experience will be considered as on the last date of the submission of application form.

16. The name of the applied post and department should be super scribed at the top left side corner of the envelope.

17. The persons with disability (PWD) shall be required to submit the medical certificate of the same in the prescribed form issued by the competent medical authorities for the purpose of employment as per norms at the time of interview, if short listed.

18. DOCUMENTS/CERTIFICATES REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW

A) Following Original Documents, Certificates are to be produced along with self attested copies at the time of interview, including other items if any later on specified on the Institute website or mentioned in the call letter. Failing which the candidate would not be allowed to appear in the interview.

a) Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent certificate indicating date of birth, or mark sheet of Matriculation/10th standard or equivalent issued by Central /State Board indicating date of Birth in support of their claim of age. Where date of birth is not available in certificate / mark sheet issued by concerned Educational Board, School leaving certificate indicating date of Birth will be considered.

b) Degree/Diploma certificate / mark sheet pertaining to all the academic years as proof of educational qualification claimed.

c) NOC and experience certificates(s) form the Head(s) of Organization(s) Department(s) for the entire experience claimed, clearly mentioning the duration of employment (date, month & year) indicating the basic pay and consolidated pay. The certificate(s) should also mention the nature of duties performed/experience obtained in the post(s) with durations(s)

d) Caste certificate by candidate seeking reservation as SC/ST/OBC in the prescribed performa only from the competent authority indicating clearly the candidate’s Caste, the Act/Order under which the Caste is recognized as SC/ST/OBC and the village/town the candidate is ordinarily resident of.

e) Physically Handicapped certificate in prescribed performa only issued by the competent authority to the person with Disability for being eligible for appointment to the post on the basis of prescribed standards of Medical Fitness(if applicable).

f) Research papers/ Books published etc. , if any

g) Documentary proof of any thing/item claimed in the application form
