Applications are invited for the undermentioned posts under “Molecular probing of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates with respect to their resistance pattern and conservation pattern of new drug targets. (MTDT)” Project as detailed below on purely Temporary basis.
Senior Research Fellow
M.Sc (First Class) in any branch of life science with two years Research Experience in microbiology biotechnology/ Molecular Biology
Experience as evident by a publication in peer reviewed scientific journal in handling infectious agents including Mycobacterium tuberculosis would be preferred.
Experience in molecular manipulations and literacy on bioinformatics tools.
SRF will be carrying out the bulk of experiments towards addressing the proposed aims of the project. The work involves culturing of Mtb isolates, DNA isolation, PCR, Sequencing and analyzing the results using standards and bioinformatics tools.
Rs.18000 + HRA @20% PM
Application should be submitted in the prescribed format (available on the Website) along with all required enclosures for proof of age ( SSC Certificate), qualification, experience and application fee of Rs.100/-, drawn in favour of the Director, NARI, Pune, by a Demand Draft( only from a Nationalized Bank) or Indian Postal Order.
