Applications are invited from eligible candidates for studentship, traineeship and Research Associate under the departments of biotechnology, government of India sponsored Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility (BIF), Department of Biotechnology, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. Interested candidates are requested to attend a walk-in interview on 20th November 2012 at 10:30 AM at Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility (BIF), Department of Biotechnology, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. The appointment of RA will be purely temporary up to Dec 2013 and likely to be continuing on subject to approval and sanction of DBT, Gov. New Delhi. The studentship and traineeship will be purely temporary for a period of 3 months and are terminable at any time without prior notice or without assigning any reason thereof. The persons engaged shall not be entitled for any claim implicit or explicit for permanent absorption in the University. Remuneration:
1. Research Associate: Rs. 16000/ per months + 20% HRA (Pre-revised)
2. Studentship: Rs.5000/- per month (consolidated)
3. Traineeship: Rs. 5000/- per month (consolidated)
Qualifications:
a. RA (PhD in Bioinformatics with sufficient experience in computational biology/computer networking)
b. Studentship (M.Sc. appear in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Any Life Sciences with prior experience in bioinformatics).
c. Traineeship (M.Sc. completed in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Any Life Sciences with prior experience in bioinformatics).
