WMDA 2012 is organized by BIO-EGICORE, which is a part of EGICORE. BIO-EGICORE is a bioinformatics company located in Lucknow, U.P.

We provide Bioinformatics services like microarray data analysis, drug designing, phylogenetic analysis, and software/database development.

Scope:

Microarray technology has become one of the indispensable tools that many biologist use to monitor genome wide expression levels of gene in a given organism. The work provides a perspective to study gene expression evolution in terms of functional enrichment and promoter conservation.

· Introduction on Microarray Data Analysis.

· An overview on how the microarray chips are designed in wet lab.

· Practical sessions on microarray data analysis.

· What is normalization, clustering & gene ontology.

· Phylogenetic analysis.

· Boot strapping & tree evolution.

· Practical session on phylogenetic analysis.
