1. SILVER JUBILEE Ph.D. FELLOWSHIPS (Engg./Tech.)

(Civil / Mechanical Sc. / Electrical Sc. / Comp. Tech. / Biotech./Food Tech.)

• Number of Fellowships : 3

Fellowship Amount : Rs.l8000/month and Rs.25000/annum as contingency

Duration of Fellowship : 2 years

Eligibility : Good academic record (preferably evidenced by good project works, publications, patents)

Place of Work: Any of the Schools / Departments of Karunya University.

2. SILVER JUBILEE Ph.D. FELLOWSHIPS (Science)

(Physics / Chemistry / Maths / Life Sc. / Food Sc. / Nanoscience / Computer Applications / Management / Library Sc.)

• Number of Fellowships : 3

Fellowship Amount : Rs.8000/month and Rs.25000/annum as contingency

Duration of Fellowship: 2 years for M.Phil. / 3 years for M.Sc./MBA/MCA degrees

Eligibility : Good academic record (preferably evidenced by good project works, publications, patents)

Place of Work: Any of the Schools / Departments of Karunya University.

3. SILVER JUBILEE PDF FELLOWSHIPS (all major disciplines)

• Number of Fellowships : 2

Fellowship Amount : Rs.20000/month and Rs.30000/annum as contingency

Duration of Fellowship : 2 years

Eligibility: Ph.D in relevant discipline with good academic record (preferably evidenced by good project works, publications, patents)

4. Ph.D./M.Phil. ADMISSIONS-EVEN SEMESTER-2012-13

• Details of vacancies for full time Ph.D / M.Phil courses and relevant rules are displayed on the web._

Application Forms may be downloaded from Karunya website www.karunya.edu. and with all details and a DD for Rs.500 (drawn in favour of 'Registrar, Karunya University' payable at Coimbatore) be sent to Admissions Officer, Karunya University, Coimbatore - 641 114 to reach on or before 08 November 2012. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted to appear for a test and interview before final selection.

Important Dates:

-08 Nov.: Last date for receipt of applications

-26 Nov : Entrance Test & Interview

-10 Dec : Admissions & candidates join the respective Departments / Schools

-31 Jan. : Subject registration for course work
