Summary The Algorithms and Bioinformatics Group at the Department of Informatics, King’s College London is seeking to appoint a postdoctoral researcher to undertake research in the development of novel computational approaches for the analysis of biological networks. Particular emphasis will be given in the development of optimisation methodologies in applications that include dynamic networks, overlapping network memberships or directionality information.
Applicants should have a proven research record in the development of algorithms for the analysis of networks, particularly in medium to large size cases. Previous experience in the analysis of biological networks (e.g. genomic or disease applications) is desirable. Applicants should have a PhD in Bioinformatics or related algorithmic discipline. The post is fixed-term for two years and is available immediately or as soon as possible thereafter.
Details Applicants for this position must have a PhD and good research experience in the development of algorithms for the analysis of networks, particularly in biological or biomedical applications.
