Applications are invited for Full Time/Part Time Ph.D programme in the following departments of the Institute. Civil Engineering (including Remote Sensing & GIS), Mechanical Engineering (including Production & Industrial Engineering), Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Material Science & Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Architecture & Planning, Energy Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Computer Application (MCA), Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Management Studies and Humanities.
Eligibility : Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks (CGPA 6.0) from a recognized university, Reservations are as per prevailing GOI norms.
Selection : Preference will be given to valid GATE/NET qualified meritorious candidates with research aptitude. An Entrance test will be conducted at Institute level. Short listed meritorious candidates with research aptitude will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the same.
Fellowship : Few numbers of full time candidates shall be considered for Research Fellowship subject to availability.
Application Form : Completed Application only in the prescribed form will be accepted. The application form can be downloaded from the Institute website http://www.manit.ac.in
Submission : Completed forms can be submitted upto 15th December, 2012 with a A/c Payee Bank Draft/IPO of Rs. 750/- (non refundable) in favour of “Director, MANIT Bhopal” to Assistant Registrar (Admission), MANIT Bhopal – 462051. The Envelope must contain the following header, “Application form for Ph.D. Admission in …………………………… Department” Applicants must submit separate applications and A/c Payee Bank Draft/IPO of Rs. 750/- in favour of “Director, MANIT, Bhopal” (non refundable) if they wish to apply to different Departments.
Applications received after due date will be rejected. No individual information for the test/interview will be sent. The schedule of the Test/Interview will be displayed on the Institute website. Candidates are advised to check the Institute website periodically after submitting their applications.
