Advertisement for the post of Project Fellow under UGC-Major Research Project Scheme
Applications are invited for the post of one Project Fellow in the UGC sponsored Major Research Project entitled, “Development and evaluation of novel synbiotic pH sensitive devices of prebiotic nanoparticles to support probiotics against colon cancer”. The terms and conditions are applicable as per the UGC, New Delhi and Davangere University guidelines.
Fellowship : Monthly Fellowship is consolidated Rs.14,000/- p.m.
Duration of the Project : 2 years
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Food Technology/
Life Science (with minimum 55% of marks)
Desirable Qualification :
a) Should have at least one year of research experience in nanobiotechnology.
b) Prior experience in animal cell culture, Drug Delivery System will be preferred.
Mode of Selection : Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview via email.
Note:
1. Candidates serving in Central / State Governments / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous bodies etc., shall apply through proper channel. If candidates apply directly their selection will be subject to clearance from their departments.
2. Application should be typed on A4 plain paper in the format given below. It should be supported with a passport size photograph along with attested copies of educational qualifications etc., and should be sent to, “Prof. Basavaraj Madhusudhan, Principal Investigator, UGC-Major Research Project, Department of Studies & Research in Food Technology, Davangere University, Davanagere-577002, Karnataka” in a cover superscribed “Application for Project Fellow” so as to reach within 15 days from the date of this publication (Adverised date 4th Dec 2012).
3. The prescribed essential qualifications are minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.
4. Incomplete applications or applications received after prescribed time limit shall not be entertained.
5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview.
6. Only hardcopies of the applications will be accepted.
