Job Description The Senior Scientist- R & D (Genome Informatics) will assist in the management of bioinformatics analysis for R & D projects. He/she will examine and optimize existing codes for speed & accuracy and support all NGS analysis platforms. He/ she will share scientific findings from research papers and apply to ongoing projects and assist in manuscript preparation including critical revision. The position requires a PhD in Bioinformatics preferably with Post doctoral experience and publications in peer Reviewed Journals. He/ She will be required to manage a group of Scientists to ensure research of the highest quality and incorporate constant improvement to build and enhance the knowledge base of the organization. The candidature provides excellent opportunities to work with eminent scientists/ senior faculties/ researchers from academia and industry.

Job Description The Application Specialist- Plant Breeding & AgriGenomics is an interesting job with close interaction with breeders, phenotyping experts, farmers, seed companies and molecular biologists. The selected candidate will liaison with prospective key clients (seed companies, Plant research institutes, molecular breeding / plant biotechnology, plant genomics labs) to provide end-to-end solutions incorporating Genotypic’s services and products. He/she will work with key clients on applying modern methodologies for marker assisted breeding techniques He/she will need to work with execution teams to ensure business continuity and with business units to set up and maintain collaborations Will identify new and emerging technologies in the agrigenomics space He/she will communicate clearly cross-functionally and across levels with external and internal scientists to consolidate Genotypic’s USP Will make poster presentations, attend conferences and connect with the global network of genomics applications scientists
Desired Skills & Experience: MSc in Agriculture / Horticulture with 2-3 years of experience in business development or another life-science product management role. Prior experience in molecular breeding approaches- marker assisted breeding and genotyping is essential. The candidate will need to possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
