About the Seminar cum Workshop The Seminar cum Workshop will provide required theoretical and hands on training in the field of Microbial Diversity, where the participants will be trained with the experiments imperative for molecular identification of microbes like, DNA isolation; Electrophoresis; Primer Designing; Ribosomal RNA typing through PCR/cycle sequencing; Sequence & Phylogenetic analysis. Demo on clinical proteomics, Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy and Real Time PCR analysis will also be given to the participants during the workshop.

Level of Participants Young Academicians / Scientists / Research Scholars and PG Students from academic, scientific and Industrial setups working or desirous of working in the areas of Biotechnology, Computational Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry and various other branches of Life Sciences are invited to attend the Seminar cum Workshop.

Registration Fee

1. Rs. 500 /- for Students
2. Rs. 1000 /- for Academicians / Scientists

The registration fee includes Workshop Material and food for all the three days of the Workshop. The selected candidates upon intimation may send the DD for the amount specified.

Accommodation Alagappa University Hostels Rs. 150 per day. Accommodation in Hotels will be arranged on advance request.
